Hematite-included Quartz

Item Description

A striking and sculptural plate of quartz crystals colored a deep, fire brick-red by hematite. The luster is excellent, and the largest crystal is about 3.9 cm. The phantoms inside the water-clear terminations are stunning. The quartz points are essentially pristine, with only a trivial bit of bruising. One area of broken smaller crystals is noted in the interior, but is certainly only a modest detraction. This remains a showy and excellent two-sided example of the species from this locale.
