Hematite included in Quartz

Item Description

Quartz is what one could describe as the most "inclusion-friendly" gem in the world. I don’t mean this in negative connotation, but rather it's the gem that is most often found with other minerals included inside of it. Here we have a wonderful big "Oval" cabochon cut stone of what is essentially colorless Quartz, which plays host to multitude of dark metallic grey-black Hematite inclusions. When strongly backlit, you can see a bit of the transparent colorless Quartz, surrounding the rich Hematites inside. A cool stone that would make a nice addition to any "inclusion gem" suite.
