Item Description

A highly unusual and showy large fluorite specimen from this well-known district. Intergrown, lustrous, translucent, olive-green fluorite cubes to 4.8 cm have a striking thin rind of tiny brick-red hematite spherules with darker centers! Scattered barite blades are a nice accent to this fine rarity and the periphery wear is a modest detraction. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection.
