Item Description
A highly unusual and showy large fluorite specimen from this well-known district. Intergrown, lustrous, translucent, olive-green fluorite cubes to 2.8 cm have a striking thin rind of tiny brick-red hematite spherules. Scattered drusy barite crusts are a nice accent to this fine rarity and the periphery wear is a modest detraction. The base has been sawed to enhance the display. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection.
