Item Description
A striking and beautiful calcite specimen from a find at this less well-known Chinese locale. The very sharp, very glassy, translucent, rhomb has colorless ends, but has pretty phantom inclusions of rust-red hematite in the interior. Adding much character to one side is an intergrown pair of glassy scalenohedrons with phantoms in the sceptered rhombic terminations. They look just like classic Shullsberg sceptered calcites! One side of the crystal is contacted, but has no damage, per se and one end of this fine calcite is cleaved, but its hard to tell.
