Hematite-included Calcite (Soregaroli Coll.)

Item Description

A striking and excellent calcite specimen from Tsumeb and the Art Soregaroli Collection. Enechelon, rib-like clusters of highly lustrous, translucent, blocky calcite rhombs are richly and preferentially included with rust-brown hematite. This piece has artistic sculptural quality and is essentially pristine. Tsumeb, like Dal'negorsk, is legendary for calcite quality and diversity and this is a very fine and colorful example.
