A striking, very attractive, two-sided, LARGE CABINET calcite specimen from Santa Eulalia, Mexico. Sharp, blocky, translucent, "wet-look" calcite rhombs to 3.9 cm have striking, clay-stained, internal, hematite inclusions. The crystals rest on a bed of earlier, small calcites. The sculptural quality of this piece is very noteworthy with the rhombs covering both sides and the mounded partition. This excellent and aesthetic, older piece is pristine and is from the Consie Prince Collection. Classic Santa Eulalia calcite and is certainly the very best of this variety and size we have offered at auction. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!!
