Hematite-included Calcite (excellent)

Item Description

Visually, this is certainly one of the most dramatic and aesthetic large hematite-included in calcite specimens we have offered at auction. The jagged mountain range of sharp, lustrous, and translucent, dogtooth calcite crystals are lightly included with hematite and have striking, very prominent, clay-stained, internal, hematite phantoms. The large crystal in the back is 7.0 cm on its back face. The presentation face is in great shape, with the periphery wear on the right side being nearly out-of-sight. Classic, most excellent Santa Eulalia calcite.
