Hematite-included Amethyst on Quartz

Beautiful, glassy, amethyst crystals with striking, brick-red, hematite inclusions and phantoms form a spectacular and aesthetic, small cabinet from recent finds in the Orange River area. The intergrown crystals are dramatically perched atop the frosted quartz crystal. The display view is essentially pristine, as the contacting on the lower right of the quartz point has no damage, per se. The tip of the highest amethyst is gently bruised and the contacting and periphery wear on the back are out-of-sight. The sculptural quality of this piece is very fine.
