Collected from a miarolitic cavity in the Sawtooth Batholith, this Hematite is classic. The bladed crystals, lustrous and sharp, form a typically layered cluster, and it is quite attractive. Even better in person, this was #12,748b in Kay's collection. A very important locality specimen of large size for a USA hematite of the bladed habit! valued $500
