Hematite (good quality)

What a wonderful Hematite thumbnail for any locality. The crystal has fantastic luster, sharp faces, metallic silvery-grey color and a beautiful "beehive"-shaped form. This is a terrific thumb, and better in person. A small separation mark on the lower front edge keeps it from being completely perfect, but it's really hard to get these specimens in such well-formed examples.
