Item Description

Here we have a notably rare locality specimen from a tiny pocket found in 2018 at Sijiang. These piece are truly some of the best quality Hematite crystals from any locality in the entire country. They really do compare favorably to fine quality Hematites from the Swiss Alps, Elba Island or Brazil. This miniature sized piece is filled with sharp, lustrous, well-formed, hexagonal bladed crystals of dark metallic grey Hematite measuring up to 6 mm across, sitting on matrix. Very little damage, (I looked it over with a loupe) and it looks wonderful in person. The combination of the high luster, well-formed crystals and beautiful form make it a must have specimen for any fan of Hematite, Chinese minerals or worldwide oxides.
