Item Description

A killer hematite thumbnail, with the unusual crystal habit you sometimes, rarely, see here of pseudo-scalenohedral form or bullet-shaped style of crystallization with a lustrous, broad, pincoid face on top. These mirror-lustrous hematites, for their habit, are to me among the more impressive examples of the species. Sharp and complete! The label says N'Chwaning, but these came from the Wessels Mine.
