Item Description

This is a splendent, mammilliary, reddish-brown hematite specimen of classic style for the famous old English locales from the 1800s. But it is from Morocco!. If anything, I like it better than the big huge old eglish pieces which sometimes turn up, because it fits in the palm of my hand and is an easier size to show. Also, it is more lustrous than most of the English hematites (even accounting for the fact that, as with all of these, one must assume they are lightly buffed in any case). Jack purchased this from an old collection in San Francisco, many years ago
