Item Description
Colorful rust-red and orange-brown hematite coats a very aesthetic minature cluster of dogtooth calcite crystals from the famous Potosi Mine at Santa Eulalia. Most specimens, such as this, have included and coated calcite crystals, but this fine two-sided piece has only a hematite coating. Nearly pristine, with only very gently bruised tips. Classic old-time material from the 1950s or 60s from the Tom Wolfe Calcite Collection.
