A predominant fine, sharp, robust, splendent, silvery-grey, thick bladed crystal of Hematite measuring 2.6 cm is accented by smaller Hematite crystals of equal quality free of matrix. Elba Hematites are certainly classics, some of the most highly regarded examples of the species, not only from Europe, but around the world. This piece is a showy and fine quality display specimen of this attractive material. Very little damage, and aesthetic! Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#915).
