Item Description
Elba Hematites are classics and some of the most revered examples of the species ever found. This miniature sized piece features incredibly sharp, lustrous metallic, well-formed, notably blocky rhombic crystals of Hematite measuring up to 3.1 cm, with minor iron-stained matrix. The main crystal is beautiful with its broad smooth and striated faces and excellent luster. There are a few small nicks, so the piece is not 100% pristine, (it's also contacted on the base where it was removed from the pocket wall), but it's still very good quality and eye-catching. We had this one priced at $950 in the inventory.
