Item Description

A classic old Elba Hematite, from the location of one of Napoleon's exiles and a historically important mining district as well. It features lustrous, sharp, metallic, silvery-black, compressed / stacked rhombohedral crystals of high calibre. The 3-dimensional display face is in good shape, with just a bit of damage here and there. The largest crystal measures 2.1 cm. From an old East Coast collection, valued at $800.
