Hematite

Item Description

Rarely does a metallic mineral inspire such awe as Hematite can. This is a show specimen from the Bouse area in Arizona featuring lustrous, metallic, silvery, bladed crystals which are in layered growth. The crystals are in great shape and show wonderful hexagonal form with beautifully gun-metal luster. I think it's an impressive toenail from this classic lesser known Arizona locality.
