Item Description
Some of the world's finest Hematite specimens are found at the Wessels Mine. This wonderful small cabinet features a 2.8 cm modified scalenohedron that is sitting in the center of Hematite crystal matrix. The crystal has very sharp, metallic, with alternating lustrous and non-lustrous faces and the classic steel-black color. The piece is in very good shape, and I would say that the main crystal is virtually undamaged along with the majority of the surrounding crystals. Very good quality, but hard to photograph, better in person. Originally valued at $1500.
