Item Description
Some of the world's finest Hematite specimens are found at the Wessels Mine. This wonderful thumbnail features a 1.7 cm scalenohedron that is flaring out of the center of the Hematite matrix. The crystal has very sharp, metallic, highly lustrous faces and the classic steel-black color. The piece is in very good shape, and I would say that the main crystal is virtually undamaged.
