Item Description

Scintillating cluster of superbly lustrous Hematite crystals from the Wessels mine. The habit is very similar to elongated scalenohedrons, with the longest one being about 1 cm tall. The cluster is composed of dozens of these crystals, in various sizes. Amazingly, they retain their individuality well. There is a little bit of edgewear, but it does not effect the mirror-like quality, or the appearance, of the piece at all. In fact, if it was larger, this could easily be hung above a dance floor in place of the mirror ball - it is that highly reflective and bright. A terrific, aesthetic thumbnail.
