Item Description
Helvite is relatively uncommon manganese-beryllium silicate. Sharp, black to yellow-green to golden-yellow, pyramidal crystals to 8 mm are richly and attractively scattered on the starkly contrasting snow-white, surgary, albite matrix on this showy and excellent specimen from recent finds in Brazil. Ex Al Ordway Collection # 545 and purchased in 2004, according to his label.
