Item Description
Helvine (helvite) is an uncommon silicate containing other anions. Two vugs host sharp, translucent, golden-yellow, tetrahedrons to 6 mm in the skarn matrix. The locality is closed for collecting and is now protected as a geological site (MINDAT). Highly representative and fairly rich older material for the locale. It displays well from either side.
