Item Description

This claim is famous for the 2003 find of superlative gemmy, cherry-red, dramatically stepped-growth/etched floater spessartine garnet specimens. The locality produced exceptional helvine specimens, an uncommon Be-Mn silicate with Sulfur at the same time. Sharp, yellowish-green, tetrahedral crystals, to 1.0 cm, are aesthetically clustered on part of the blocky porcelaenous albite matrix. A choice, showy and excellent combination small cabinet from the Luis Menezes dealer stock.
