Item Description
An exceptional and sculptural 360-degree matrix small cabinet helvine combination from the now-famous Huanggang deposit in China, purchased in the earlier years of export around 2010-12. Four, sharp, yellow-brown textbook tetrahedral helvine crystals with resinous luster are aesthetically intergrown and rest atop the sculptural matrix, that includes included-quartz crystal sections, to 3.0 cm. The impressive large and dominating 3-sided pyramid is 4.6 cm tall. The scattered florets of RARE bone-white albite are an outstanding accessory and contrast. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, this is a fine specimen with unusual aesthetics. The specimen is illustrated in the MINDAT Photo Gallery for the species.
