A shocking specimen of half heliodor (yellow-green beryl) on aquamarine! Amazing, and most unusual. The transition from yellow-green to blue is razor sharp and remarkable for the lack of a gradient. The transition is much sharper in real life than the pics. In fact, the transition is every bit as sharp and smooth as the termination of the crystal is. A bit of termination edgewear is noted, but is a very modest detraction. A fascinating large, miniature beryl of unusual nature from a small one-time find. 23 grams. Fairly valued at $750-800.
