Hedenbergite is extremely rare from Pakistan. Leave it to intrepid Himalayas dealer, Herb Obodda, to find such a showy combination rarity from a very obscure locale. Lustrous, sharp, jet-black prisms are aesthetically clustered on the sandstone matrix plate with a single gem quartz crystal, a jackstraw field of cleavelandite blades and rich fields of tiny, gemmy, yellow-green diopside crystals to 2 mm. The impressive, sharply terminated large prism is 3.0 cm long. RARE and choice material. TRY to find another! A MUST for the locality or species collector.
