Hedenbergite on Quartz (old Canada locale) Ex Mullane

Item Description

Well-crystallized hedenbergite specimens are RARE from any Canadian locale. This rich and excellent large combination specimen is from a very obscure locale in the Northwest Territories. A dense and showy field of sharp, moderately lustrous, olive-green, prismatic crystals to 2.2 cm rests on quartz matrix and is accented with biotite books on one side. Old-time material with two collection numbers and a cloth label on the back. Ex Dennis Mullane Collection.
