Item Description

A sculptural and hefty specimen of classic Cobalt silver with starkly contrasting attached calcite, showing the hackly and bright look that makes them very collectible and identifiable. A very 3-dimensional specimen, with every turn presenting an entirely different perspective. The frontal view looks like a pillar with wings. The top view of the bright hackly silver is particularly striking, as it is shaped like an old 3-corner hat! This piece could have come out anywhere in the heyday of this mine, which operated from 1907 to 1940. This massive piece is complete around, and weighs 341 grams. It is from the Robert Hauck Collection. A major old Canadian silver. valued $1500
