Item Description
An interesting reference specimen of Lazurite (now a variety of Hauyne) which are actually replacements (partial pseudomorphs) after Phlogopite Mica: the most prominent Lazurite crystals retain the sharp pseudohexagonal form of the original Phlogopite that they pseudomorphed, but many of them are exposed to show the preexisting Mica inside. A great rarity in the mineral world, and from what I understand, these specimens are no longer being found.
