The sharp tetragonal hausmannite pyramids on this exceptional old-timer are HUGE for the historic Type Locality, up to 2.9 cm on edge! The grayish-black crystals have striking stepped-growth and are moderately lustrous. Specimens of this quality and size of crystals are extremely rare from this ancient mining area.
