Item Description
First-class and stately, this superior Hausmannite has a small amount of Calcite and Andradite for accent. The Hausmannites are classic tetragonal pyramids with multiple, overlapping stepped growths, and excellent, shimmery luster. On top of that, the crystals are significant - up to 2.3 cm on edge. The three Hausmannites rest against each other beautifully and aesthetically. They enhance one another rather than compete. On the base you can see numerous micro Andradites, as well as a few small, sharp Hausmannites. Overall, this is an exquisite, aesthetic specimen.
