Hausmannite & Andradite (Bristol Coll.)

Item Description

A superlative, sharp and lustrous, stepped-growth, hausmannite crystal, 2.2 x 2.0 x 1.9 cm, is aesthetically set on matrix on this very fine combination from famous Wessels Mine and the Dave Bristol Collection. The front of the piece hosts smaller hausmannites and two generations of andradite crystals, drusy flesh-pink on top. The vuggy back is totally covered with the earlier, sharp, larger, lustrous and translucent, dark rose-red andradites.
