Item Description
Imposing and impressive cluster of sharp and super-lustrous Hausmannite crystals on Manganite matrix. The cluster is a full 9 cm long, and the individual crystals (there are a hundred) maintain their identity well though they flow into one another. The largest of the mirror-like Hausmannites is a good 1 cm on edge. It is much better in person, as shooting black against black is tough. A terrific specimen from the famous Wessels Mine. Very 3-dimensional and nearly pristine, this is valued at $1200-1500 though the photos do not convey its dramatic appearance very well
