Item Description

A gorgeous small cabinet consisting of sharp, lustrous, black pseudo-octahedral (bipyramdial tetragonal) crystals of Hausmannite (with groups measuring up to 1.2 cm) from the famous Kalahari Mn Field. This is some of the best Hausmannite in the world, and good pieces are not easy to find on the market. More than just a black rock, this is an attractive display specimen of this fairly hard to find manganese oxide.
