Item Description
Sharp hauerite crystals are well-known from this Polish sulfur mine. Two lustrous reddish-brown octahedrons, to 3 mm, are aesthetically set on the triangular matrix plate. Hauerite is rare Mn-sulfide, a member of the Pyrite Group. Choice material from the Matioli Collection. And, rare on matrix!
