Item Description
This old-time, very fine and pristine, sharp hauerite octahedron is from the Sorbonne Museum and Wouter van Tichelen Collections. Hauerite is a rare member of the Pyrite Group and is a Mn-sulfide. It comes in a probably 100-year old cork-stoppered glass vial. An excellent and classic example from this well-known Sicily mine. valued $1000
