Harmotome

Item Description

An attractive small cabinet display specimen of the famous Harmotomes from the St Andreasberg, Germany. This locality has produced some exellent examples of this obscure Zeolite species. The crystals on this specimen are notably sharp and lustrous with perfect monoclinic form and show the desirable "cross" form on the terminations. The largest crystal measures 5 mm at its longest dimension. This one is a real beauty for Harmotome with very little damage and excellent displayability. The piece comes to us from an old East Coast collection. Don't miss out on this one, it's a worthwhile display specimen of a species that most people do not have in their collections.
