Item Description
Hambergite is a rare accessory mineral in gem pegmatites. This is a sharply terminated, pearlescent, transparent to translucent, prismatic, orthorhombic white crystal with a nifty small side car. Hambergite is a beryllium, borate and sharp elongate crystals are known from only a few localities. It is uncommon from Pakistan and is extremely rare from this very obscure Pakistan valley. Complete all-around. The back and part of one side were contacted against the vug wall, but here is very little actual damage. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock and valued by Herb at $600 more than five years ago. Value today is $800-1000. Old material. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
