Item Description
Hambergite is a rare accessory mineral in gem pegmatites. This elongated pearlescent and translucent, prismatic white crystal was contacted on both ends with the pocket walls during formation. The crystal appears to be twinned. Hambergite is a beryllium, borate and sharp elongate crystals are known from only a few localities. It is uncommon from Pakistan and is extremely rare from this very obscure Pakistan valley. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock. Valued today is $900-1200. old material
