Item Description
A VERY RARE, showy and colorful combination from the extinct Fe-Cu-Ag-Au-Silica underground Planet Mine. A RARE chatoyant matted aggregate of soft-to-the-touch hair-like Halotrichite crystals is aesthetically set on the sculptural miniature gossan matrix covered with dramatically contrasting rich bright blue Chalcanthite. Chalcanthite is a hydrate Cu-sulfate. Halotrichite is NOT listed by MINDAT for the mine and is a hydrated Fe-Al-sulfate. Ex Gary Weaver Collection. Rare, perhaps UNIQUE combination material from the mine. NOTE: hand delivery preferred but we believe we can ship it, although a few hairs might shake loose in transit.
