Item Description

A unique, elongated stalactite of crystallized sharp, cubic halite, perched one atop another! This is a beautiful piece that seems to be a complete all around, and is classic for the locality but rare in such preservation. It appears to be a floater, having grown around a central stalk of something. Wilensky Gallery donation to the auction in support of the Mineralogical Record. Valued $4000-5000.
