The iconic Halite specimens from Searles Lake in California are some of the most well-known, largest and most attractive examples of the species ever found. This piece is one of the most significant, impactful and eye-popping Halites that we've had to offer from this locality. The staggering size along with the excellent quality of the crystals is fantastic for the locality and the species in general. This sculptural, aesthetic large cabinet display specimen features superb quality, very sharp, beautiful, skeletal ("hoppered"), gorgeous pink colored cubes measuring up to a full 4.0 cm on edge sitting on a layer of darker pink massive Halite matrix. VERY little damage, as nearly all of the crystals are pristine. The piece is incredibly three-dimensional and looks great from several angles. A fantastic big display piece of this classic material.
