Item Description
Halite specimens are rare from the salt deposits of Sevier County, Utah. This is a striking water-clear, rectangular cleavage block with waxy luster and feel from the Redmond area. The bit of noted bruising is certainly a modest detraction to this fine rarity. Old-time halite, as Bob Trimingham purchased this in 1967. A must for the locality or species collector.
