Halite (rare bi-colored crystals)

A beautiful Halite specimen from recent collecting at Owens Lake (late 2023) featuring wonderful, sharp, well-formed, notably skeletal crystals measuring up to 3.2 cm on edge showing a fantastic combination of attractive rose-pink and light golden hues. The piece is crystallized all over, with no major damage and displays beautifully from a few angles. It's rare to find these specimens with two notably different hues like this, as they are often either wholly pink or wholly that light golden hue. A really attractive and eye-catching example of these classic Halites from this well-known locality. PLEASE NOTE: Halite is soluble in water, so do not expose this piece to moisture, and if you live in a humid environment, try to keep this closed off from moisture in a sealed bag/box.
