Item Description
A sharp small cabinet specimen with isolated, fine, gemmy blue halite crystals perched on sylvite matrix. All is sharp and gemmy and you can even see cubic forms of symmetry in the water-clear sylvite, in which the halite is perched. It is a gorgeous matrix for offsetting the pale blue halites. The large crystal measures 2.3 x 2.0 x 1.7 cm. It was self-collected and donated to the MINDAT auction by Phil Simmons of Enchanted Minerals.
