Stacked clusters of colorless, translucent, sharply terminated halite crystal with waxy luster richly and attractively cover the massive halite matrix on this showy and rare example from the Dead Sea area of Jordan. Halite specimens are rare from either Jordan or Israel around the Dead Sea. This very fine and rare piece is essentially pristine and has multiple display views. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection and formerly in the Mike Gorges Collection. Modest pink fluorescence under SW UV light. A must for the species or locality collector.
