The Halites from Searles Lake are some of the best known crystallized examples of the species from any locality, The combination of the gorgeous pink crystals with their sculptural skeletal cubic form is classic. Here we a have a wonderful cabinet sized specimen filled with sharp, well-formed, lustrous "hoppered" cubes measuring up to 3.7 cm on edge on a thin layer of Halite matrix. The gradation from a rich pink hue at the base to a very soft baby pink tone at the top gives the piece character. Excellent three-dimensional form along with VERY minimal damage really rounds out the specimen. A very attractive specimen of these well-known Halites.
