Item Description
Haiweeite is a fairly rare hydrated calcium uranium silicate, and some of the best known examples are micro specimens from Brazil. This piece is a good overall specimen featuring micro bright yellow "sprays" of Haiweeite associated with minor purple Fluorite plus Uranophane, Calcite, Albite and Muscovite (?) Mica. A great piece to view under the microscope as there truly is a lot going on here. This material is nearly impossible to find on the market, and certainly worth picking up if you collect rarities or micros. We've photographed the piece with a Canon MP-E 65 mm macro lens to better illustrate the quality. Don't miss out on this one as we have few to offer, and this is one of the best ones.
